A whole house water conditioning system is a filter that rids the entire house of chlorine. There is filtered water at every tap, although it is not as clean as a reverse osmosis system. The water quality could be compared to spring water, which in our opinion is not suitable for drinking, yet is still much healthier to shower with than tap water. There are no filters to replace or clean, it is environmentally safe, and it protects plumbing fixtures as well as the water heater for the house.
