The reverse osmosis system is one of the best water purification systems one could have for a home. It is not merely just a filter system, but a purification system, which removes any impurities from your tap water. It is more environmentally friendly than using plastic bottles, and saves us all money from not having to purchase bottled water ever again.

How It Works:

Stage 1: Water is first passed through a sediment filter, which is composed of natural media acting as a net to trap unwanted dirt particles such as sand, rust, and any form of sediment. These filters are always the most filthy when it is time for the system to be serviced.

Stage 2: Water then is passed through a carbon block filter, which remove any left over sediment and also begins to purify the water of any chlorine, heavy metals, VOC's (volatile organic compounds), etc.

Stage 3: Water makes its way to the semi-permeable, multi-layered membrane. As the water makes its way through the membrane, any left over impurities are filtered to the drain. Any water that does not make it through this stage is used to cleanse and give longevity to the membrane. From here, water is considered purified as it transfers to a storage tank (typical storage tank is 2.5 gallons).

Stage 4: The final stage that the water will go through before entering the faucet is the post-carbon filter. This filter acts as more of a taste and odor enhancer, as water may develop an unpleasant taste while sitting in the storage tank.

So whether you are more concerned with the health of your family, your environmental footprint, or you just want to save more money in the long-run with your water consumption, our reverse osmosis system is one that will benefit you in all aspects.
